{"id":1864,"date":"2015-10-31T10:27:41","date_gmt":"2015-10-31T10:27:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/essays.rsree.com?p=1864"},"modified":"2015-10-31T10:27:41","modified_gmt":"2015-10-31T10:27:41","slug":"religion-kills-once-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/essays.rsree.com\/index.php\/2015\/10\/31\/religion-kills-once-again\/","title":{"rendered":"Religion Kills Once Again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was reported by the BBC today that a Bangladeshi publisher of secular books has been hacked to death in the capital Dhaka in the second attack of its kind on Saturday, police say.\u00a0 Faisal Arefin Dipon, 43, was killed at his office in the city centre, hours after another publisher and two secular writers were injured in an attack.<\/p>\n<p>They are the latest victims in a series of deadly attacks on secularists since blogger Avijit Roy was hacked to death by suspected Islamists in February.
